Grows to 6 feet high 3 feet wide. Both their yellow flowers in winter and blue purple berries in the spring will add some unusual interest to shady areas in your landscape. These berries are often used to make jams jellies and preserves. Native americans made a yellow dye from the bark and wood of this shrubby species.
