If you aren t familiar with paperbush edgeworthia chrysantha it s a fun and unusual flowering shrub. Flower color is yellow gold and blooms in spring winter. It is native to woodland areas in the himalayas and china. Edgeworthia is a giant flowering shrub reaching up to 6 8 feet tall.

Edgeworthia is one of the stars of the winter garden or should we say it s one of the suns. Edgeworthia flowers exude a sweet fragrance similar to daphne further enhancing their sunny disposition. Grows in part sun to shade. The only plants that we ship are snowdrops and miniature hostas.

Edgeworthia chrysantha commonly called paper bush is a compact deciduous shrub that blooms in late winter through early spring. In summer the blue green slender leaves turn edgeworthia paperbush into a mounding bush.
